I am taking a class on illustrating children's books. It focuses a lot on the business, planning, and layout aspects, rather than critiques of drawings, but we are moving into more image-focused classes now. I am still working on my character for my story. She's a spider named Louise. These drawings are based on her being a spiny-back orb weaver. They are really cute and make beautiful webs. Here is a general sketch of her, then one of her riding her bike and one of her scuba diving.
All are ink and watercolor on watercolor paper, about 8"x10".
