Since I've been posting about my recent dead bird drawings, here's an older watercolor of a dead bird, from my book of spells project. I'll post the entire chapter another time, but for now here's one of my favorite pages from that book project.

You might try googling artist Judith Scott, she did some very interesting things with wrapping objects in yarn and string. Her work will be at the Outsider Art Fair in NYC next month.
