This weekend I did another painted scarf, to continue practicing like I started last week. What's different about this scarf is: I used black gutta instead of clear; the gutta turned out to be old and congealed in some weird way (which I guess is what I get for buying my gutta from a non-specialty store for a quarter of the price since it hadn't sold in the many years they'd carried it... but also is why I'm testing on these scarves instead of on the big piece I'm planning!); and this scarf is for my mom, so it's meant to match a blouse she owns.
