This is my favorite oil painting that I made last semester. It seems to be everyone else's favorite, too! Many people commented on seeing it in the art building--where I left it for many weeks while I worked on it.
The difficulty I had with this painting, and oil painting in general, coincided with my focus on watercolor, ink, and bookmaking--a focus that I've continued over the summer and into this semester.
